ISFAA’S Policy Brief Progress Review Meeting

Event Date

22nd August 2025

Event Location

Nairobi

IBMA Kenya joined fellow stakeholders at ISFAA‘s Private Sector Markets & Consumers TWG meeting to reflect on progress since the launch of the Cultivating an Enabling Business Environment for the Organic Inputs Sector in Kenya policy brief and to chart the way forward for Kenya’s organic inputs sector.

A key focus was on post‑launch activities drawn directly from the policy brief’s recommendations:
1️⃣ Convene multi‑stakeholder roundtable dialogues to validate the policy brief and gather actionable feedback from both public and private sector players.
2️⃣ Co‑create practical solutions and implementation pathways with regulatory bodies, manufacturers, and advocacy groups to simplify licensing and certification processes.
3️⃣ Establish a joint working group to track progress, support policy uptake, and drive sustained reforms in the organic inputs sector.

We remain committed to working alongside partners to ensure these actions translate into a more enabling and efficient regulatory environment for organic input manufacturers in Kenya.
